The International Cyanide Management Code (ICMC) is a voluntary program for the gold mining industry that promotes responsible management of cyanide used in gold anEdMsAilIvLer mining. This program significantly improves the protection of human health and reduces the potentialof of possible impacts on the environment. The program has been adopted by gold and silver mining companies, cyanide producers and transporters to achieve a standard internationally recognized at all points of the cyanide supply chain.
